WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR CARERS

MEDIA RELEASE: What does The Victorian 2023-2024 State Budget mean for Victorian carers? | Carers Victoria

“Forget About It”

Forgetting is a highly-evolved brain feature that we absolutely need in order to function.

Just as you would be overwhelmed without your attention system to filter and select, so

it is with memory.  Forgetting is a good thing.  It’s a feature not a flaw in our biological

makeup.  We need it, we rely on it.  It’s every bit as important that we forget it as it is we remember.

Extract from the book ‘Peak Mind’ by Dr Amishi P. Jha

Try this recipe:    Echidna Balls

  • 800g beef mince

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend to a “batter” consistency

Pour ⅓ cup of batter on to the pan, using a measuring cup to ensure equal pancake size and cooking times.                                                                                                                                                                                Allow the pancake to cook until bubbles appear around the edges, then flip and cook until golden.
